SA-8 D2 - Sundown Audio 8" Dual 2-Ohm SA Series Subwoofer
The SA-8 is easily one of the most powerful 8" sub-woofers on the market today. It features a unique motor - which is actually a bit different from the rest of the SA line - designed to get the most performance possible from an 8" woofer in it's price bracket. A smaller diameter 2" coil was utilized so that a larger spider could be mated to the driver for extended excursion capability. The SA-8 is capable of around 2 inches peak to peak mechanical throw with 1.25" of that being linear coil travel.If you shopping for powerful b in a compact package the SA-8 is for you. They equally at home in SPL installations where enclosure volume is at a premium.
